There has been some shootout near the office here as thugs engaged a woman carrying money. Two or three people have been shot but what surprises me is that the police left the injured "thug" for two hours in the sun hoping he will die. I believe that justice should not be metted in the streets but in the courts of law. the police should have taken him to hospital after demobilising him and later to court....suppose he was an innocent bystander?

I'll be honest, with the revolving door justice we have in Kenya as long as he was wielding a gun; I too would leave him to die.
Quite disturbing to read. There is a fine line between justice and violation of legal rights.
Injustice is injustice, whether meted on a child or a rapist! The law should always be allowed to work; that is - in a perfect world!
